I’m Will Gundaker, a third-generation builder from Kāʻu, Hawaii. My journey began working with my dad in construction when I was just 12 years old. After attending High School at Lahainaluna, Maui and studying architecture at UNLV, I returned home to continue our family legacy. As a proud Hawaiian, everything we do is done with aloha and care, both for our family and for Hawaii. Our goal is to create exceptional builds that leave a positive impact on our community and the environment.

1. How long will my project take to complete?
If you have a complete set of architectural plans or the required engineering stamp, Gundaker Works can complete most averaged sized residential projects in nine month.
2. How much will my project cost to build?
Gundaker Works offers quality craftsmanship at reasonable prices. Depending on your selections, the cost of construction in Hawaii ranges between $300-$800 a square foot.
3. Can Gundaker Works help us obtain a building permit?
Gundaker Works can either help you internally or arrange for an architectural firm to route your project to the Department Planning & Permitting.
4. Do you help with interior design?
If you need help with your material selections please ask us about our Selections Coordination Services.
5. Do you provide architectural services?
We first enter into a design services agreement that provides for twenty hours of consultation in order to narrow the project scope within your budget. After the project is defined we propose an architect best suited for your project in terms of style, budget, and value engineering requirements.
